Received my ballot from San Antonio Radio Organization (SARO) in the mail on Tuesday, December 2nd. 3 director slots on the board are up for election this year (2 yr terms) and there are 4 candidates on the ballot to choose from…

Ballots were mailed to all paid members (as of the October 2008 meeting) and need to be returned via US Mail by December 18, 2008 using the pre-addressed envelope provided. Ballots received after that date won’t be counted. There is no postage on the envelope, so donate $0.42 to the cause by putting your own stamp on it.
SARO’s bylaws allow / require the members to elect members to the board, serving rotating 2 year terms (no, that doesn’t mean they sit in a chair turning in circles). The newly elected board will meet after the ballots are counted to choose among themselves who gets the fancy titles (like president, VP, secretary, treasurer) or not.
