Veterans Day Parade – Universal City

In addition to the Motorcycle Marshals I have so far received responses from the following people that have volunteered for helping out on the parade. First I would like to say Thank You for all the support. It is truly overwhelming.If you are not going to be able to make it or things have changed, please drop me an email. In any event it looks like we will have plenty.

We will be meeting at the Universal City Police Department on Universal City Blvd at 0900 Saturday Nov 1st for Coffee and Donuts and I will pass out assignments at that meeting.Herm, you will be in the patrol car at front of parade as you have been in the past. Charlie KC5NKK and Charles KD5EXS will be at the Intersection of Pat Booker and Kitty Hawk. Dave K5OLE and FLoyd W5FGG will be covering the circular driveway at McDonald’s.All other assignments will be determined at the meeting so get there early for the best assignments.We will be working on 446.000 Simplex with a squelch tone of 141.3, and an HT should be all you need. After the parade is over between 1130 and 1200 we will be going to lunch probably at Taqueria Acapulco right there on Pat Booker (Near UC Blvd) if you wish to join us.Looking to seeing everyone on November the first in Universal City.PS: Don’t forget your cameras!
