SARO Has New Website Design

logosaro_smThe San Antonio Repeater Organization has unveiled a brand new website design, same address, with lots of new features for sharing information about the club to both the public and to its members.

Please check the new website out at Sarepeater.net when you have a moment.  Website design and hosting for the club has been provided by Lee N5NTG, as usual.  Additional work is on-going, therefore you will see some changes to the layout or design from time to time.

All SARO members are encouraged to register on the website for access to the member only area, using their Amateur Radio Call Sign as their userID.

Non-members are encouraged to download the 2013 membership application and join the club, because you won’t be allowed register on the webside unless you are a paid up member of SARO.  All web registrations are checked manually by a club officer or designated agent before being approved. Registering on the website is not a substitute for completing a membership application to join SARO.

Comments made to existing posts on the “News” page are open to the public, so you don’t need to be a registered SARO member in order to reply to a posted article or another person’s comments.

All comments are moderated and do require the writer to either be logged in (SARO members only) or to provide their name and email address at the time they make the post.  Only the user name will be visible if the comment is approved by the moderator.
