Starts at 6:45pm. this takes the place of their normal monthly meeting which would have been held on the other side of the planet, over at the American Red Cross HQ.\u00a0 No RSVP needed. Cost of your own meal &amp; drinks is on you.\u00a0 No meal purchase required. www.bexarcountyares.org is their website.<\/li>\n<li><strong>December 3rd &#8211; Thursday:<\/strong> <strong>Kendall Amateur Radio Society (KARS)<\/strong> will hold their Annual Christmas Party at 6pm, at Boerne Vistro.\u00a0Contact Jim KK5RZ <a href=\"mailto:jim_mastro@yahoo.com\" target=\"_blank\">jim_mastro@yahoo.com<\/a><\/li>\n<li><strong>December 4th &#8211; Friday:<\/strong> <strong>AARO is holding their Christmas Party<\/strong> at Grady&#8217;s BBQ Restaurant, located on Bandera Rd, between Mainland and Eckert Rd. Starts at 6pm. Hams usually done by 5am Sunday.\u00a0 Shifts being scheduled so we don&#8217;t have to all work 24 hours or more.\u00a0 Using UHF or VHF communications with portable repeater, fixed repeater and sometimes simplex.\u00a0\u00a0 Next thing to operating in an emergency zone.
