We&#8217;ve done some major revisions, but only in the past year have we added a bunch of new stuff, like <a href=\"http:\/\/sanantoniohams.org\/blog\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">this Blog<\/a>, the online Classified Ads, and the online interactive (for registered users) Events Calendar.<\/p>\n<h2>But some of the &#8220;old&#8221; stuff is still useful!\u00a0\u00a0<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/sanantoniohams.org\/clubs\/index.htm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">We&#8217;ve got listings of most area clubs<\/a> in Central South Texas, all of the ones in San Antonio, TX of which I&#8217;m aware of, and a bunch scattered around the area who requested to be included, all the way over to Corpus Christi, down into the Valley, or west into Medina County.<!--more--><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/sanantoniohams.org\/tips\/index.htm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>We&#8217;ve got a Tips Page<\/strong><\/a><strong>,<\/strong> with lots of ideas on how to do &#8220;stuff&#8221;, like building your own anti-whine filter for your car, to knock out the annoying alternator whine that messes up your signal and audio on your mobile radio.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Our <\/strong><a href=\"http:\/\/sanantoniohams.org\/nets\/repeaters.htm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Area Repeater List<\/strong><\/a> is often times a popular page for visitors to the area.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Need to know what <\/strong><a href=\"http:\/\/sanantoniohams.org\/nets\/index.htm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Radio Nets<\/strong><\/a> are on the air when and what frequency?\u00a0 We&#8217;ve got the answer for that.<\/li>\n<li><strong>We&#8217;ve got a page that has info about <\/strong><a href=\"http:\/\/sanantoniohams.org\/ve\/index.htm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>VE Testing for Ham Licenses<\/strong><\/a>, who&#8217;s offering testing when and where.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/sanantoniohams.org\/classes\/index.htm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Want help getting upgraded or getting a ham license<\/strong><\/a><strong>?<\/strong>\u00a0 We&#8217;ve got listings of local ham classes (when available) and study aides when no classes are available.\u00a0 Actually, the study aides are always on-line.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Need some <\/strong><a href=\"http:\/\/sanantoniohams.org\/trivia\/index.htm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Ham Humor<\/strong><\/a><strong>?<\/strong>\u00a0 We&#8217;ve got a trivia section with Ham Humor, including a link to some hams in Denmark singing about Ham Radio while hanging from a really tall tower!<\/li>\n<li><strong>And we&#8217;ve got a <\/strong><a href=\"http:\/\/sanantoniohams.org\/links\/index.htm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Links Page<\/strong><\/a> with links to places where you can get stuff, or find out more stuff.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>I&#8217;m always willing to add more stuff as it becomes known to me.<\/strong>\u00a0 I&#8217;ve been wanting to create a section explaining &#8220;How To&#8221; with PSK31 and with APRS, for example.\u00a0 And I need to update the training and emergency communications pages soon, they are already out dated.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Send your comments, suggestions or even complaints<\/strong> to me <a href=\"mailto:info@sanantoniohams.org\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">via email<\/a> or by phone (210-771-7075 mobile).<\/p>\n<p>73 de Lee N5NTG<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This month is the 6th anniversary of the www.SanAntonioHams.org web site, and over the years, we &#8216;ve added a ton of stuff to the site, building upon previous entries and uploads.
