Hey Group,<\/p>\n
Saturday (November 1st) is approaching fast and I would like to take a chance to Thank everyone that has stepped forward and volunteered.\u00a0 We have approximately 18 volunteers plus 13 motorcycle marshals coming and it looks like we will have great coverage.<\/p>\n
I have briefed Steve Denton at the U.C. Police Department and he is quite pleased.\u00a0 They really look forward to our help each year and it sure looks like we are going to make a good impression again this year.<\/p>\n
Once again I just want to remind everyone that we are meeting inside the Universal City Police Department on Universal City Boulevard at 0900.\u00a0 Just park and walk in the front door and there will be someone there to point you to the right place.\u00a0 We will be treated to free coffee and donuts and as you arrive please check in with me so I can give you a safety vest and an assignment.<\/p>\n
The parade will actually kick off at 1030 so we will have plenty of time to get positioned and check our comms.\u00a0 The frequency will be 446.000 Simplex using Tone Squelch and a tone of 141.3.<\/p>\n
