{"id":6417,"date":"2012-11-12T23:44:56","date_gmt":"2012-11-13T05:44:56","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/sanantoniohams.org\/blog\/?p=6417"},"modified":"2019-10-17T07:06:09","modified_gmt":"2019-10-17T12:06:09","slug":"report-2012-san-antonio-rock-n-roll-marathon-video","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/sanantoniohams.org\/blog\/?p=6417","title":{"rendered":"Report &#8211; 2012 San Antonio Rock n Roll Marathon Video"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Okay, it&#8217;s time to unveil the full length,\u00a0140 minutes, runners video that we took at Mile Marker #4 on Camden Street.\u00a0<\/strong>\u00a0 It has minimal editing, mostly to add titles at the front \/ back, and a running date \/ location stamp during the video.\u00a0 All sound is original once the video portion begins.\u00a0 (The video file itself was more than 2gb in size, and it was only 640&#215;480 screen size.)<\/p>\n<p><strong>I&#8217;ll be posting more info about the race itself,<\/strong> who the volunteers were from AARO and other ham volunteers, etc., in another post.<\/p>\n<p><strong>This post is just for the runners.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 This is the view from Mile Marker #4 on November 11, 2012, starting around 7:45am<\/strong>, after all the bicycle riders are gone.\u00a0 You can see the approaching lead vehicles, watch the guy and my son, David KD5MTJ, relocate the mile marker and clock closer to the curb, and hear all the spectator comments (uncensored) in the background.<strong>\u00a0 The video with the bicycle riders is found here <a href=\"http:\/\/sanantoniohams.org\/blog\/?p=6394\">http:\/\/sanantoniohams.org\/blog\/?p=6394<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"youtube\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"YouTube video player\" class=\"youtube-player\" type=\"text\/html\" width=\"425\" height=\"344\" src=\"\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/-ACu0lFCRGo?wmode=transparent&amp;fs=1&amp;hl=en&amp;modestbranding=1&amp;iv_load_policy=3&amp;showsearch=0&amp;rel=1&amp;theme=dark\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/span><\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><strong>The music from my van was from my laptop computer<\/strong>, connected to a 50 watt PA system (running on DC power, Pyle brand), hooked up to 5 speakers (a 50 watt bullhorn from Radio Shack, and 4 &#8211; 200 watt marine speakers (also made by Pyle).\u00a0 You could hear those speakers for blocks away.
