He was born on June 20, 1952 in El Campo, Texas to Raymond Oscar Williams and Eva Lois Jacobs Williams. Gene was a member of the Gold Wing Riders Association-Chapter H and the ARRL Amateur Radio Association.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/sanantoniohams.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/12\/gene-williams2.jpg\" title=\"Geme Williams N9WY on left\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/sanantoniohams.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/12\/gene-williams2.thumbnail.jpg\" title=\"Geme Williams N9WY on left\" alt=\"Geme Williams N9WY on left\" vspace=\"5\" width=\"206\" align=\"left\" border=\"0\" height=\"140\" hspace=\"5\" \/><\/a>He was a Marshal for the Multiple Sclerosis: Valero Bike to the Beach.\u00a0\u00a0 He also did the American Diabetes Association: Tour de Cure and participated in the Chapter H Santa Ride for kids who could not afford to have Christmas gifts.<\/p>\n<p>Gene retired from the U.S. Air Force as MSgt, serving from 1971-1993. He is survived by his parents; his loving wife, Raguell; daughters, Jennifer Lea Galyean, Tiffany Marie Charvet &amp; husband, Robert, and Lisa Ann Johnston &amp; husband, Luke; sister, Doris Ann Varnell; brother, William &#8220;Billy&#8221; Claude Williams &amp; wife, Brenda; grandchildren, Anthony Lee Galyean, Dylan Frank Galyean, John Edward James Charvet; along with numerous nieces &amp; nephews.<\/p>\n<p><!--more-->SERVICES<\/p>\n<p>Visitation will be held on Monday-December 15, 2008 from 6:00PM until 9:00PM at Mission Park Funeral Chapels North.\u00a0 Funeral Services are scheduled for Tuesday-December 16, 2008 at 12:00 Noon at the funeral home chapel. \u00a0\u00a0 Interment will follow at Mission Burial Park North.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.missionparks.com\/obit-content\/?id=612230\" target=\"_blank\">Obit Listing<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong><font color=\"#ff0000\">Internment (burial<\/font><font color=\"#ff0000\">):<\/font><\/strong><br \/>\nMission Park Burial Park #5 &#8211; After the  funeral<\/p>\n<p>Yes, we invite all motorcyclists to come show your support for  Gene for the funeral.\u00a0 Gene chose\u00a0a t-shirt that he wanted to be buried in that  reads:\u00a0 &#8220;Born to Ride, Live to Ride, Die to Ride.&#8221;\u00a0 Fly the flags and wear your  colors to support Gene&#8230;because we know he&#8217;d do it for us.<\/p>\n<p>I suggest we  arrive on the bikes by 11 AM at the funeral home because they should have  designated parking for the bikes.\u00a0 The funeral home is close to where the old  Malibu Golf and Games used to be.\u00a0 It&#8217;s on Cherry Ridge and can be accessed  either off of I-10 (Callahan exit) or Loop 410 because it is at the intersection  of Loop 410 and I-10.\u00a0 I&#8217;m expecting 30+ bikes.\u00a0 If you can&#8217;t come on your  scooter, just come in your 4 wheeler.<\/p>\n<p>Please pass this on to everyone &#8211;  whether they knew Gene or not, because Gene loved his country, and he loved his  family, and he loved his bike.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Eugene A. &#8220;Gene&#8221; Williams passed away on December 10, 2008 in San Antonio, Texas.
